If You Do Just One Thing in 2009...

Live artfully!

According to a recent article by Dustin Wax, there is "an art to living".  In this beautiful article, Dustin outlines what he learned from a person who is "a true artiste of life".  Have you ever been around someone you just can't seem to get enough of?  Who is captivating yet grounded all at once?  A few people come to mind when reading Dustin's list of four simple observations:

  1. Pay attention.
  2. Surround yourself with inspiring people and inspiring things.
  3. Capture your dreams.
  4. Be appreciative.
I invite you to take these and make them your own as you look forward to the new year.  How will you live life artfully in 2009?  As for me, I plan to enjoy the present moment, challenge myself professionally, and surround myself with positive individuals.
