Declutter Your Life

Decluttering your life enables you to focus the things that really matter - goals, relationships, career, family.  I recently made it a goal of mine to declutter my personal spaces at home and work.  Through this effort, I came across The Clutter Diet.  The Clutter Diet enables you to create a home where you can find things quickly and easily, you and your family are prepared for what they need, and you are not embarrassed to have people over.

Get the daily ClutterTweetTip by following The Clutter Diet on Twitter.  And be sure to check out the 30 Ways to Find Time to Get Organized

The first step I took was to clean my closet - anything that hasn't been worn in over a year was donated to Goodwill.  Shedding so many clothes that haven't been worn in ages cleared my mind... and my closet!  How are you taking steps to declutter your life?

Comments

Oh, I love this. Starting with my closet is going to be my first step too. Next will be my office, including old books that I'll donate to the Goodwill or hold a garage sale. Another thing I'm doing is de-cluttering my calendar - making sure that I don't overbook myself or overlap events.
